In 2020 Primo Piano Industry converts an entire department to the production of surgical masks, completing all the procedures, carrying out all the paperwork and making all the necessary structural changes in the building in order to classify them as a Class I Medical Device at the Ministry of Health.

The added value of Primo Piano Industry is the ability to customize masks by printing its outermost side with low transmigration inks, so to also classify the printed version as a Medical Device.
